Who Am I

After a lengthy struggle with chronic pain had stripped away all I thought I was, all I thought I had been, and all I thought I would become all that remained was the glory of discovering that this moment, this eternal now, was the very nature of the Self. In the realization of our divine nature as this vast ocean of love we are able to taste all the flavors of life with a graceful present effortlessness. With love overflowing from this infinite heart I am moved to share my experience as the embodiment of this pleasant moment that we all are. My only wish is that all may be freed from the suffering of illusion caused by living in the regrets of the past and the longings of the future. May you meet your benevolent Self here in the timlessness of the pleasant moment of now.

Who Am I

Dezarae
Dez, a ray!
Some cosmic play!

It’s been this way
since the shell
first cracked open.

All my struggles broken
that day Happiness spoke and
lifted me to the sky that moment
and flung me over his shoulders.

Now I don’t worry about losing weight
or get caught up in the money game.
I’m not looking for my ideal job, sparkly
top downs, or glossy fame.

Troubles or blessings,
all gloriously same.
The only bit that lingers
is I can’t remember
my own name.
